Lara has just about wrapped up her annual antiques buying trip in Europe when she's invited to meet reclusive billionaire Crawford Lake. Lake wants her to get a certain Etruscan sculpture, and to tell no one he's the buyer. All Lara has to do is persuade the owner to sell, which is a hard thing to do when he turns up dead in his own Etruscan tomb.

The Etruscan Chimera is a really marvelous read...a vividly exciting and colossally absorbing first-rate read that should not be missed. And I cannot urge eveyone enough to give this mystery novel a go.

Lyn Hamilton is a very creative and colorful writer who always manages to bring the past to life in her archeological mysteries. Her latest work, THE ETRUSCAN CHIMERA is a conspiracy buff's delight. The supporting cast have schemes within plots that Lara innocently and unwillingly participates in. This is one mystery that will take a genius to solve.
